IS YOU READY????

No, I am not ghetto nor do I speak ignorance but the fat bitch at the Checkers on University Blvd does! Peaches and I always go there as a last resort (which was the case tonight) and now we remember why! Not knowing what we wanted yet, Peaches asked the voice in the box to hold a sec. Apparently after a few minutes (which was a few minutes too long for her) she comes over the intercom and in a loud ghetto but rude voice, she says.... IS YOU READY YET????
Are you kidding me?? Did that illiterate shit just come out her mouth?? I wanted to ask her (in her language) "Is you gonna take some English courses??" but we kept it cool and just drove off.
Why did she wanna bring the diva out of us with only 1 day left before the new year!? Lord take her higher with her ghetto-speaking ass. Just for this, I dub Checkers the Hottest Tranny Mess of 08!

SHE IS MAKIN IT WORK!

Ms. Raven Symone, you are my Ms.Fierocia of 2008 just for taking this picture! You are giving me Couture, Fierceness, Hot Tranny Mess, Diva, "Bitch What?" Face, and "It's Ovah!" Attitude all at the same time! YOU MAKE THEM BITCHES GAG and let them know not to fuck wit it!!!!! With this picture there are three scenarios I see here: 1- She is really needing to go to the bathroom and while she is holding it in, she saw the paparazzi and put on the fierce pose. 2- She is just waiting for the bathroom when she over hears those bitches on both sides of her talking shit about her and her show, and she challenges them to a stand off which she obviously wins! 3- She just came out of the bathroom and when those bitches start going on about her being in there too long, she gives the fierce face and they start to gag and get upset that she took it there on that ass! Either way, it's just a hot ass picture from her. This should have been out blog picture, but Peaches did a SEXY Hot Tamale picture which I like better!! Thanks boo!

Words to 08 and for 09!

With 2 day left before the New Year, I feel it is necessary to get this off my chest! I have always felt that with each new year that we are blessed to experience, we all should try to make it better than the last. Being that 2008 has not been a good year to me and many others, I pray that this upcoming year will bring us some kind of happiness in all aspects of our lives or at least meets us halfway! Now, don't get me wrong, I am still eternally grateful for the things I have and lessons I have learned because it could always be worse. A lot of us have been emotionally beaten up, financially stripped down, physically worn out, and spiritually crushed at least once with all the problems of the world. All we've been hearing this year is "drama, bullshit, and hate" but right behind it someone says "Change is coming!". BUT WHEN???? It's so hard to keep our heads up and our eyes on the prize when the future looks to dim to see where we're going! The world and everyone in it may not ever get to be in perfect harmony, but I feel in my heart that next year is gonna be our time to shine. All the blessing that we somehow missed are finally coming back to us. All the hard lessons and mistakes we had to learn from are going to pay off. All the setbacks and bad situations we had to endure are gonna show us their rewards.
**So to 08, thanks for the all the heartache and pain you put us through, thanks for all the tears and sorrow we experienced, thanks for the broken dreams and broken promises we received, thanks for the break-ups and mess-ups we had to deal with, and thanks for the crushed feelings and sadness that consumed us. We will take those hardships and start anew tomorrow! But it wasn't all bad, I have to thank you for all the blessings and many miracles that helped me through, all the friends and family that listened to me complain about you, and for being a year the will go down in history because the first black man was elected President of the United States.**
**Here's to you 09!, I not going to say that you will bring unparalleled happiness but I am hoping it get 50% better for us. I believe in you and what you will bring for the next 365! Please be good to my family and friends as well as everyone else's. We ARE LOOKING TO YOU TO FIND OUR JOY!!**

Just Let'Em Know - Dedicated to YOU

I saw a post the other day on Adamsweblog.com (click here for the post) and while that situation was very different from mine, the common denominator was the same. When someone you really care about blatantly turns face on you or just stops calling you, IT HURTS! But even with that happening, if you knew WHY they were being that way, it would make it easier to deal with! So why do so-called friends or lovers do it?? Maybe you feel it makes us suffer for doing you wrong? Maybe you can't handle facing us because you might be the guilty one? Maybe someone told you that shutting us out completely was the right thing to do? Maybe it's all or none of those things, but "maybe?" is the only question have can come up with since you weren't man/woman enough to speak up! I mean, it can't be easy for you either know that you just left someone behind like that! WHAT KIND OF PERSON DOES THAT MAKE YOU?? You wouldn't want someone treating you like less of a person or you weren't worth the truth!!! I feel that even if you think you're right or wrong and that you feel it best to separate, JUST LET'EM KNOW!! Even if we don't agree, you have cleared your air so we can finally start to clear ours. You may not know it but the longer you wait for the courage to finally say something, we just build our questions up which leads to assumptions which lead to anger and then you have no chance because once a good friend has gone bad, they're gone forever! (HAHAHA!) But seriously, 09 is just days away so if there is one person that doesn't know how you feel, LET THEM KNOW NOW. Don't start off next year having someone you left wondering what happened, STILL WONDERING! Thanks to Adam Benjamin Irby for feeling the same common denominator as I do and bringing that to your readers attention.

Friends and Lovers!

I can't wait for this to come to the small or BIG screen!
From Maurice Jamal (Writer and Director of The Ski Trip) comes Friends&Lovers!!!
From what I take from the trailer above, it's a series that will start up where the movie left off. I wonder if it will be a dvd series or tv show type of deal? I would say that it should be on LOGO, but if they canned Noah's ARC then best believe F&L wont make it on that station! BOO YOU LOGO for taking away the best thing you had on your network!! Can't wait to see it!

Kwanzaa Roots: Kujichagulia (Self-Determination)!

To define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves and speak for ourselves. To carry the spirit of Self-Determination, find five things that make you unique.
SELF-DETERMINATION
Self determination is something that one feels when knowing that against all odds, he/she can still RISE
Even when enemies taunt, poke fun, and chastise
When adversaries talk, and perhaps question one’s beliefs
Stirring up laughter and yet causing one grief
Self determination is being strong while being pounced on like an
Elephant on an ant
Knowing that you can do all things that others really can’t
After all, who cares what others think—whether they be friend or
Foe
Self-determination above all means saying ‘YES’ to you when others are shouting ‘NO’

Know Your Roots to Grow: Kwanzaa!

Me and my family celebrate Kwanzaa after Christmas (Even though we haven't been as dedicated as of late!) and it is always a great way to rebuild our spirit from the past year and carry a stronger sense love and spirit into the new year. For those who don't know, yes Kwanzaa is a African American holiday, and yes it is not a specific African Holiday, but a mix of many, and it is not the black Christmas but its own celebration that happens on the 26th of December to January 1st. Here is a little insight:
Kwanzaa is an African American and Pan-African holiday which celebrates family, community and culture. Celebrated from 26 December thru 1 January, its origins are in the first harvest celebrations of Africa from which it takes its name. The name Kwanzaa is derived from the phrase "matunda ya kwanza" which means "first fruits" in Swahili, a Pan-African language which is the most widely spoken African language.
Kwanzaa was created in 1966 by Dr. Maulana Karenga, professor of Africana Studies at California State University, Long Beach, author and scholar-activist who stresses the indispensable need to preserve, continually revitalize and promote African American culture.
Finally, it is important to note Kwanzaa is a cultural holiday, not a religious one, thus available to and practiced by Africans of all religious faiths who come together based on the rich, ancient and varied common ground of their Africanness. The Celebration is made of the Seven Principles called the Nguzo Saba, which each day is the celebration of each principles.
So for the week of Kwanzaa I will post the Principle if each day, so everyone in their little way can celebrate and grow their spirit for the new year. Even though Kwanzaa is an African American Celebration, the principles are things that all can learn and grow from and be shared.

Side Note: I found this cute video from Sesame Street showing a typical Kwanzaa Celebration with a now celebrity star in it.

The Night Before Christmas

In times of money and lack of money, shopping and going in to debt, and love and hatefulness, I think it is time to reflect on the things that made Christmas magical as a kid. Yes its the Bday of Jesus and he is the reason for the season, but as a kid it was all about Santa and the most magical time of the year, Christmas Eve. So hoping everyone out there has a magical Christmas and make sure to leave a cookie for Santa!

A Joyful, Joyful Christmas!

With only 2 days left before Christmas, I felt it necessary to post this video in hoping to lift up some spirits! I know this year has been really hard for us to get through and that you feel this Christmas may not be as special with little to no presents under the tree. I can relate to your pain, especially with all the other crazy downfalls I have experienced this year, but let's make the best of the last few days of the year! I'm still not gonna LET ANYONE TAKE MY JOY IN THE 09!!!
HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

That's Why I Don't Fcuk with Pussy at Night!

Oh Lord of Mercy!!!! Me and Skittles had a night tonight. We were coming home after getting an after work meal from the University Whataburger (by the way nothing beats their A-1 Thick and Hearty Burger!!) and I was driving down Spring Park cracking up with Skittles when all of a sudden Skittles freaked out! I look down the dark ass road and saw a cat run in front of the car and literally like a minute later there was two huge bumps. I sworn I ran over a person and lucky I kept control, even though I had to piss like a horse and wasn't helping by drinking a bucket cup of ice tea. I know I had a dead cat either stick somewhere under the car or on the road, but as soon as I looked back, I saw that bitch racing across the street like nothing happened. Me and Skittles were like either that was one lucky ass cat or some ghost of a cat or unknown super creature. I am not a cat person at all, but if you live on Spring Park and know of a grey cat, let me know cause that cat is fierocia!

Give That Chick A Hand???

That is my question for today!! I heard the song of the same title from my girl Mya the other day and it had me thinking.... If your man/woman cheated on you with someone else, who you give that person a hand (meaning you would give that person props for winning him/her over??) These days, the person that was cheated on wants to fight the one that their partner cheated with but shouldn't they actually be congratulating them or maybe even giving their partner the beat down?? I have to agree that if someone else had the ability to take my man and succeed, then I would feel like they deserved each other. I mean, apparently the skank had something I didn't and why would I deny them the chance to take my cheating boyfriend. If he loved me enough then he wouldn't be with anyone else. If you want to be out of the relationship, let me know before you cheat on me!! I feel that if others have to scheme and plan to take your lover away, then they have their own problems and he will have to deal with that since he left you for that hot mess ok? And then why beat that home wrecker down when your man will be long overdue for a good stabbing for hurting you?? HAHAHA but seriously don't stab cuz that might kill him, BEAT HIM WITH A BAG OF ORANGES!! So, I say give that ho props for showing you first hand that your man was worthless to begin with, maybe even ask her what she did to turn his/her head!! Might as well get some tips from the bitch!! Tell me what you guys think...Would you give a chick a hand or just smack the heffa???
Here the song below!
