Quickie Review: New Moon/Eclipse

I know I am late with this review just like the last one so forgive me in advance ok?? Good! Now, after seeing it TWICE (first time on purpose, second time on accident) here is what I think....
IT WAS GREAT! I enjoyed the obvious Edward/Bella chemistry, Taylor made me want to be a wolfophile(pedophile for young wolf boys), the high class divaness that is the Volturi, the special effects were on point, the JACKSONVILLE shout outs AGAIN!, and that the movie didn't shy to far away from the book. I must say that I wish that Laurent and Victoria had a longer scenes and that showed the Cullens more often. Oh!, and is it just me or did Edward look overly bland this time around?? I just feel like he and Jacob should at least LOOK somewhat equally matched (physique wise) so Bella could truly wonder who could put it on her, if you catch my drift, cuz Jacob won hands down for me.... OKAAAY???? If you havent seen it or read the book then do so immediately!


As you may or may not know, Eclipse (the third installment in the saga) is already in post-production and should be in theaters on June 30, 2010!

We Suck!

Okay I know its been years since our last post, but it has been crazy these last few weeks. Poor Skittles is still without a computer. I have been busy with work, planning Skittles Birthday trip, and for a week was sick as hell. And now do to a good friend, the last movie, and the upcoming movie, me and Skittles have "Sucked" into the Twilight Saga. Yes I know we're late to the party, but it at a party until the Fierocia Divas are there! But like Edward's stare, these books are hard to break away from. I just finished New Moon and Skittles is about to finish Twilight and I will be at Chamblin's Uptown tomorrow (If not today!) to get Eclipse. Trust, we have alot to talk about on the blog and literally thousands of post to write from craziness at the Zoo to Brit, but as soon as I get some free time, those books be calling me!! So I promise to fight the thirst and drop the book for a moment and post, also we need to work on Skittles computer game, but in this recession we are open to donations! But seriously, if you hadn't read the Twight Saga, you need to get in to it like K rayon Brooks!

Twilight Me!

Peaches and I went to see Twilight today (well yesterday) and I actually liked it a lot when I didn't think it possible. Now we both feel like we have to read the book since our friend (and fans talking to us as we left the theater) feels that we would have appreciated the movie more had we graced it's novel pages. If this tries to become the next Harry Potter phenomenon, they already have a good start off from movie #1 which made me a believer. We had to go early cuz we knew it would be crowded in the evening, which there were fans already lining up at 3:30pm for the 4:15 showing. It was a very serious movie (as serious as a vampire & human love relationship with plot twists and battle scenes movie can be) with mildly funny moments that made it all the better. Only thing that was off to me in a bad but good way was that all the character personalities weren't what I thought they would be like (you may agree when you see it) and some reactions from the characters were not believeable, but it didn't take away from the experience. Also, the scene with the sun on Edward's face and his big reveal to Bella was.....well just wait as see. Oh, and they represented Jacksonville at least 7 times throughout the movie which will always be a plus. JACKSONVILLE STAND UP CUZ WE MOVIE STARS!!!!!!! Im out!

P.S. - Cam Gigandet (James), Kellan Lutz (Emmett), Taylor Launter (Jacob), Gregory Boyce (Tyler), Micheal Welch (Mike) are to cute!
